Here at Brakes, we’ve got ambitious growth plans. If you want to be part of shaping the future of our independent business and leading a team at the forefront of foodservice trends, then we have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager for North Scotland.
Leading and inspiring a Regional Field Sales Team, you’ll support them to achieve and exceed sales, profit, and margin targets, retain our customers, and win new ones. You will also play a proactive role in devising, reviewing, and revising the overall Regional Business Plan.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop, implement, and own the regional business plan and budget to unlock profitable growth, enhance customer experience, and meet regional sales targets.
- Lead, direct, coach, and motivate six direct reports of Area Sales Managers to deliver sales and high team performance.
- Proactively partner with the Operations Manager and Depot, holding regular calls and profitability meetings to achieve shared KPIs.
- Create a customer-first culture, understanding key customer needs to improve experience, retain, and grow business.
- Resolve issues proactively with Operations to enhance customer experience and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead the new business agenda via Business Development Managers and Area Sales Managers to achieve new business targets.
- Ensure talent management and engagement across the region.
- Meet with customers as required to retain and grow business.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to establish mutually beneficial solutions for customers and the business.
Highly commercial, you’ll have experience leading a team of field sales professionals, driving growth through new and existing business, preferably in the foodservice industry. Customer focus and fostering a culture of continuous improvement are essential. Proficiency with technology to improve customer service and performance is also important; experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, excellent bonus potential, a home-based contract, a company car, holiday purchase options, and access to industry-leading development programs. There are ample opportunities for career progression into various commercial roles.
We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity. We want you to bring your whole self to work and help define our culture. #BelongAtBrakes.
