role overview
The Sales Co-ordinator supports the wholesale sales function by managing end-to-end order processing, coordinating with customers, sales agents, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and excellent service. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager and Sales Director, this role also involves maintaining sales reports, supporting digital platforms, and contributing to account management, trade show planning, and general sales administration.
key responsibilities
- You will undertake a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Managing independent order processing; from receipt of order to it being received by the customer
- Liaising with customers, providing excellent customer service
- Sending proformas or chasing overdue invoices; liaising with accounts team regarding payments
- Liaising with warehouse regarding short falls, outwork requirements, order processing, specific customer requests etc.
- Liaising with and providing support to sales agents
- First point of contact for all wholesale enquiries, looks after enquiry or passes to relevant team member
- Responsible for compiling and distributing weekly and monthly sales reports
- Supporting lead account manager on up uploading new releases to website and PixSell, followed by day-to-day maintenance
- Build sample packs for each agent and selected customers for each release
- Handle Phone calls; answer all calls for the business, direct to the correct department
- General ad-hoc admin requirements
- Providing outstanding sales support to the wholesale team
- Additional responsibilities for experienced Co-ordinators may include:
- Assist Account Manager(s) on National and Export accounts
- Take the lead on small National/Export Accounts
- Create export paperwork and secure shipping quotes
- Assist Account Manager on Trade Show design and layout, specifically planning card displays
- Experience in sales related role is ideal but not required
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- A team player, but can work independently, with minimal direct supervision
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Confident telephone manner
- Suitable for entry level applicants
