Workplace Type / Job location: Remote (1–2 days/month in London)
Job Type: Full-time | Reports to: CEO
Salary Range: £60k - £90k Basic + Commission (with equity potential for the right person)
The Role:
We’re looking for a Sales Development Lead to design and deliver a growth strategy that accelerates CEC’s next stage of expansion, across both our consultancy services and our Mi-View360™ software platform.
You’ll create and execute the go-to-market plan for Connected Packaging and Accessible Wayfinding, build high-value relationships, and help convert opportunities.
YOUR IMPACT
1.Build the Strategy:
- Design a clear, focused and scalable sales plan for Connected Pack and Accessible Wayfinding.
- Identify who we should target, how we reach them, and what drives conversion.
2.Drive Awareness
- Position CEC as the global leader in Connected Packaging and Accessible Wayfinding.
- Increase visibility of our proposition through LinkedIn, thought leadership, and key industry events.
- Represent CEC as a speaker, connector and credible voice in the marketplace.
3.Generate Consideration
- Unlock commercial value from new and existing partnerships.
- Leverage high-profile industry initiatives (e.g. AI-enabled packaging) to open doors and create momentum.
4.Convert and Win
- Collaborate with the leadership team to convert live opportunities.
- Bring intelligence, structure and precision to every proposal to maximise conversion rates.
- Build repeatable, insight-driven sales processes that scale.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years’ experience in enterprise sales (SaaS, consultancy, or digital transformation)
- Proven success with both outbound and inbound sales to large enterprise clients (Fortune 1000 / FTSE 350)
- A confident storyteller who can simplify complex ideas and close senior-level deals
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, collaborative and fast-moving
- Passion for accessibility, innovation and purposeful business growth
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of CPG/Retail industry challenges (compliance, omnichannel, sustainability)
- Understanding of accessibility standards and assistive tech solutions
- Familiarity with account-based sales and enterprise procurement cycles
- Experience in high-growth, early-stage or venture-backed businesses
