Sales Engineer. £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus scheme + Car Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Business Development professional to join a well-established leading business who supply robotic & automation solutions to the manufacturing industry. Newly created role in a growing, successful team, focussing on growing key accounts as well as generating new business. Very consultative and targeted on quality over quantity when it comes to their sales approach. Very suited to someone with a technical background in engineering, robotics, mechatronics or similar who has moved into a commercially focussed role. They provide bespoke systems, so this person will need to have a good technical understanding. An understanding of the manufacturing industry (Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Food / Process and Distribution). Excellent long-term capabilities within an SME business, working closely with the Sales Director. A very free / autonomous role, offices in Gloucester, and customer across the UK. Roughly £50,000 - £60,000 + Car or Car Allowance + Wider company benefits. You will need a full UK driving license and be happy with travel and working autonomously. you will be accustomed to travelling to customer manufacturing sites across the UK Technically astute (Mechanical & Electrical), Good knowledge of Manufacturing & Production machinery
specifically capital equipment, conveyors, PLCs, robotics and similar. You could work in a related industry; Automotive, Food & Process, Pharmaceutical, Distribution or similar. Accustomed to working in an autonomous role
you will manage your own visits, pipeline and work in a very free role reporting into the Sales Director. Long sales cycles for high value projects. Engineering knowledge
qualifications or experience working in a technical role. Able to travel to customer sites
full UK driving license.
