Sales Manager – Foodservice + Wholesale

West Yorkshire/Greater Leeds – Office Based

£35k + 20% Bonus + Commission – (OTE £60K)

Our client:

• A fast-growing, family-led importer and distributor of premium Mediterranean and speciality food products, established for over 15 years.
• Supplies award-winning restaurants, hotels, delis, caterers, and food distributors across the UK and Europe.

The role:

• Sales Manager opportunity leading a team of four account executives and customer service specialists.
• Responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships across importers, wholesalers, and independent foodservice clients.
• Split between nurturing existing accounts and driving new business development - around two days a week focused on generating new sales opportunities and partnerships.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and logistics to ensure smooth execution and exceptional service delivery.
• Based full-time in Wetherby, working closely with senior leadership to drive category and customer growth.

Ideal candidate:

• Experienced in foodservice or B2B food sales, with strong commercial acumen and understanding of the food distribution landscape.
• Comfortable leading a small team while managing your own portfolio of accounts and new business pipeline.
• Driven, entrepreneurial, and confident engaging with buyers, chefs, and decision-makers across restaurants, hotels, and wholesalers.

Benefits & details:

• £35k base salary
• Bonus up to 20% of salary + monthly sales commission (typically up to £2k/month) – OTE £60-70k+
• Office-based in Wetherby, Monday–Friday
