About the RoleThis is a great opportunity to join a growing, highly motivated distribution team supporting the Northern Sales Director and Northern Business Development Management (BDM) Team.
This position is ideal for a candidate eager to learn and interested in career growth within the sales team. It offers a pathway to develop into a Business Development Manager role, with opportunities to gain industry qualifications if not already held.

Reporting to the Northern Sales Director, the role involves supporting the Northern BDM Team with various sales-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Northern BDM team with information to drive new business opportunities pre- and post-sale.
- Assist the Northern Sales Director and have regular catch-ups on progress.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services and their appropriate client circumstances.
- Create regular Quilter Cheviot communications for advisers.
- Gather adviser information from various sources to support panel building and maintenance.
- Coordinate with central functions to support distribution materials, messaging, and information.
- Manage FE licence access and updates for users in collaboration with the distribution team.
- Attend team meetings to capture and act on action points.
- Research topics like adviser data and competitor analysis for the distribution team.
- Monitor industry publications for emerging themes and share insights with the team.
- Arrange adviser meetings/events and support attendance both virtually and physically.
- Follow up on events by providing attendee data and CPD certificates, and contacting advisers.
- Edit content on the Distribution Intranet (SharePoint) and Training (Degreed) pages.
- Build relationships with advisers and assist in booking meetings.
- Support CRM due diligence processes when needed.
- Liaise with various departments at Quilter Cheviot to support distribution activities.
- Develop a working plan with the Northern Sales Director to incorporate sales support needs.
- Proactively manage the adviser prospect list.
- Work towards obtaining an industry Level 4 Diploma.
