About The Job

We’re looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused Sales Team Manager to join our Sales & Partnership’s leadership team in our Manchester office.

As a Sales Team Manager, you will motivate and lead your team in identifying and achieving commercial goals, KPI’s and revenue growth while providing best-in-class experiences to ourautomotive retailer customers, occasionally supporting customers yourself.

Using your proactive approach and curiosity, you will understand the changing market and identify opportunities to drive customer success.

The key to being successful in this role will be your ability to develop individuals within your team, enabling them to progress their careers within Autotrader and improving their capability to ensure we provide brilliant experiences for our customers. You will achieve this by setting clear objectives/KPIs and carrying out regular 1-1, PDP, and quarterly review conversations.

You will have an adaptable coaching style that will allow you to understand people’s motivators to ensure they develop their capabilities to manage changing customer demands and market conditions.

Using a collaborative approach and great communication skills, you will create an environment where best practices are shared and at the heart of what you do. Leading by example, you will create an inclusive team culture that creates a platform for success and enables people to develop and thrive.

What We're Looking For

Benefits

We’re offering a salary of £47,500 – £65,000, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares.

You'll have 28 days holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Additionally, we have our remote-first periods at set times during summer and winter. During these periods, you can work remotely anywhere in the UK and from certain locations abroad.
