Overview

We are looking for a senior sales manager to strengthen the Airbus Protect sales team in the UK. The candidate will have strong knowledge in cybersecurity and will be responsible for driving the UK market strategy, expanding the external client portfolio, building and maintaining key client relationships, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, coaching junior team members and contributing to a high‑performance culture. Market analysis and internal collaboration with marketing, pre‑sales and business units are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the sales strategy for the UK market in line with the overall Airbus Protect strategy and priorities.
  • Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities within the aeronautical, CNI and defense industries using new and existing networks.
  • Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with key decision‑makers (C‑level, CIOs, CISOs) by positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, by providing a consultative and solution‑oriented approach.
  • Coach and inspire junior members of the sales team, share best practices and contribute to a high‑performance culture.
  • Conduct continuous competitive and technological intelligence to identify new trends, emerging threats, and market opportunities and share it with the strategy teams.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide reliable revenue forecasts to management using the CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Work closely with marketing, pre‑sales and business unit teams to ensure strategic alignment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Business school degree or university degree in Management or IT related topics.
  • At least 5 years sales experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong network within the cyber industry.
  • Experience with key account development, complex sales cycles, and good IT knowledge.
  • Experience working with international teams.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring other team members.
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
