Overview

Seeking a Specification Sales Manager who specialises in heat interface units. The role is centred on building relationships with consultants, local authorities, housing associations, and other key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with consultants, local authorities, housing associations, and developers/contractors.
  • Promote product ranges, with a focus on heat interface units, and provide technical/specification support for new builds, retrofits, and heat network projects.
  • Deliver CPD presentations and respond to specification enquiries and tenders.
  • Track and grow the specification pipeline, converting opportunities into sales.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulations to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product development, marketing, and sales efforts.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven background in specification sales or technical sales within heating networks.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydronic systems, heat interface units, and relevant standards/regulations.
  • Direct experience working with heat networks.
  • CP1 Accreditation required.
  • HNTAS course desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial acumen and project management ability.
  • Based in London with willingness to travel as required.


Success Measures

  • Growth in specified projects and conversion to sales.
  • Quality of specifier relationships and market penetration.
  • Contribution to market intelligence and product development.
