Overview
Seeking a Specification Sales Manager who specialises in heat interface units. The role is centred on building relationships with consultants, local authorities, housing associations, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with consultants, local authorities, housing associations, and developers/contractors.
- Promote product ranges, with a focus on heat interface units, and provide technical/specification support for new builds, retrofits, and heat network projects.
- Deliver CPD presentations and respond to specification enquiries and tenders.
- Track and grow the specification pipeline, converting opportunities into sales.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulations to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product development, marketing, and sales efforts.
Skills & Experience
- Proven background in specification sales or technical sales within heating networks.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydronic systems, heat interface units, and relevant standards/regulations.
- Direct experience working with heat networks.
- CP1 Accreditation required.
- HNTAS course desirable but not essential.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial acumen and project management ability.
- Based in London with willingness to travel as required.
Success Measures
- Growth in specified projects and conversion to sales.
- Quality of specifier relationships and market penetration.
- Contribution to market intelligence and product development.
