Territory Sales Manager – UK is part of the Sales organization and will be remote in the UK. Key Responsibilities
Develops and manages assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth. Researches and understands territory growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy. Maintains and develops strategic partnerships with key customers and leverages internal resources, when necessary, to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. Develops the client relationship by understanding both short‑term and long‑term needs/goals for optimal positioning of IDT’s products and services.
Education
Master’s degree in a Life Science field or Bachelor’s degree with relevant Life Sciences sales experience required. PhD in a Life Science field preferred.
Essential Requirements
Five years of prior sales experience required; preferably in life science reagents/consumables. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets for at least 3 years is required. Applications experience within NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc. and working knowledge of accounts in assigned territory preferred. The position is based in the North‑UK with 50% travel, primarily within the North‑UK. Fluency in English is a must.
Additional Preferred Experience
In‑depth knowledge of SalesForce.com and working knowledge of PowerBI. Outstanding prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation and closing skills.
